Healthcare Operations & Population Health Leader
My work centers on strengthening healthcare delivery through research-informed strategy, operational leadership, and population health approaches that improve access, engagement, and long-term outcomes. Grounded in doctoral research and extensive healthcare leadership experience, I focus on translating evidence into systems level approaches that support population health, midlife wellbeing, and chronic disease prevention.
Across my career, I have been brought in to stabilize decision making in complex clinical environments by aligning operations, people, data, and patient experience so scale, speed, and performance reinforce one another rather than compete.
Operational leadership across ambulatory and multispecialty care environments, with a focus on access, performance, workflow optimization, and patient experience.
Experience integrating population health, prevention-focused strategy, and community-informed approaches into healthcare operations and care delivery.
Research and applied scholarship focused on Black women’s health, midlife wellbeing, chronic disease prevention, and the social and structural factors that shape health across the life course.
Leadership experience guiding operational change, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic execution across complex healthcare environments.
My work centers on strengthening healthcare delivery through operational leadership, population health strategy, and approaches that improve access, engagement, and long-term wellbeing. Grounded in both healthcare leadership and doctoral training, I focus on translating research and lived healthcare experiences into practical strategies that support prevention, care quality, and healthier communities.
Across my career, I have been brought in to stabilize decision making in complex clinical environments by aligning operations, people, data, and patient experience so scale, speed, and performance reinforce one another rather than compete.

I am a healthcare executive and population health leader with over 25 years of experience across clinical operations, ambulatory care, and healthcare strategy. My work focuses on strengthening care delivery, aligning operational and clinical priorities, and improving how patients experience and engage with healthcare systems.
I hold a PhD in Community Health Sciences and an MPH, with research focused on medical mistrust, Black women’s health, and inequities in healthcare access and outcomes. Across my doctoral training and published work, I have examined how maternal health disparities, chronic and intersectional stress, and social determinants of health shape healthcare experiences across the life course. This scholarship continues to inform my approach to population health, care delivery, and community-engaged models of care.
Throughout my career, I have worked across multispecialty care settings, women’s health, ambulatory services, and community-based initiatives. I bring a perspective that bridges healthcare operations, population health, and applied scholarship, with an understanding of how structural inequities shape both patient and provider experiences.
I am the founder of Charmar Health, a platform for research-informed thought leadership at the intersection of healthcare operations, population health, and health equity. Through this work, I explore how research, strategy, and lived healthcare experiences can inform more responsive approaches to care delivery, midlife health, chronic disease prevention, and community wellbeing.
